When I arrived in New York City, the first thing I thought was the beautiful Central Park, is almost impossible for you to go in New York and no visit the park, which is huge, has an area of 3.41 km² (843 acres of paths) and is located in Manhattan. I consider the Park a haven for those looking to escape the noise of New York, to read a newspaper in his spare time, to rest or meet friends. Among of lots options you can rent bicycles for $ 20 for 2 hours or $ 40 all day, carts, arrange a tour with tour guide, or walk like me, it was the first time in the park I walked like crazy, but it is Impossible you know everything in one day, I recommend before you going into the park plan the places you will like to go.

The shell splits the park in areas south and north. The entrance to the South, near the Plaza Hotel, takes you to the Skating Rink, where you can rent equipment or simply sit and enjoy the view. A little further up and east is the Zoo, and even if you do not go, you can see a huge polar bear, white boy, playing in his tank, alias, a feature of this zoo is to let them see the animals very close. Ahead, near the lake where boats are rented small remote control, is the sculpture of Alice in Wonderland. This area and playgrounds are the most utilized by children.

Above and to the west, the Boathouse, you can hit a boat ride. At the time of 72 Street is the “Strawberry Fields” and close there, the “Imagine Mosaic”, dedicated to ‘the memory of John Lennon who, though revered by fans, impressed me very little. In this area, across the street, you see the Dakota Building where Lennon lived and in front of which was assassinated. It is around the corner and to identify, note that at the top of the building there are figures of Indians, just the Dakota Indians, Native Americans.
