My First Trip to a Whole Foods Market!

Hi Glam’s,

I want to show (for those who doesn’t know of course!), The largest U.S. organic supermarket, Whole Foods Market, as the name implies, sells only natural/whole wheat/organic . That’s right, Whole Foods is A-L-L natural, whole wheat and organic, of vegetables to beauty products. And as we were strolling through New Jersey, we decided to meet and buy some organic products like brown sugar, peanut butter, brown rice, nuts, dried fruits and more. One of the most fun parts of our trip focuses around food of course, we have to eat well and I like it!

Whole Foods Market was founded in Austin, Texas, when four local businesspeople decided the natural foods industry was ready for a supermarket format. Founders were John Mackey and Renee Lawson Hardy, owners of Safer Way Natural Foods, and Craig Weller and Mark Skiles, owners of Clarksville Natural Grocery. The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. Was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States and today there are several units, of which 12 are in the State of New York.

I made a joke in the picture with my husband, it was pure coincidence when I took the photo and he was paying the bill, I don’t need to say anything just look his face when he was paying (laughs)!

Tip Those who are staying or will spend some time in the U.S., and is concerned with fattening foods, do not worry, just put on your list and then meet Whole Foods Market and don’t worry has only have natural products as I mentioned at the beginning this article and the service is excellent.

Note: Prepare the pocket, it is not cheap as a normal supermarket in town, it depends what you will buy, you’ll find cheap products and expensive. The total of our purchase was $ 45.00 dollars we bought little things, but we love it!
